Dennis Wilson grew up in Hawthorne, California with brothers Brian and Carl and was an original founding member of the Beach Boys. Dennis was the drummer, having taken lessons at his alma mater, Hawthorne High.

Dennis was an influential member of the band, having contributed lyrics to many of their hit songs. He also worked on solo projects with other artists and has several unreleased tracks.

Unfortunately, Dennis’ struggle with alcohol led to his untimely death in Marina Del Rey, diving in the harbor to retrieve some of his ex-wife’s belongings he had thrown overboard.

Dennis’ impressive discography and portfolio of songs will be remembered forever.
