Rick Dickert is an American broadcast meteorologist and longtime television weather and traffic reporter based in Southern California. He is best known for his work with FOX 11 News (KTTV), where he provided weather, traffic and breaking-news coverage from the SkyFOX helicopter during FOX 11 Morning News and Good Day LA. Dickert has earned recognition in his field, including a Golden Mike Award for best traffic reporter in Los Angeles and multiple Emmy Awards for his broadcasts.

A native of the Redondo Beach area, Dickert has also engaged with the local community over the years — from serving as grand marshal of events like the King Harbor Holiday Boat Parade to having his aerial photography featured in local exhibitions.

He studied meteorology at San Jose State University and holds professional certifications in weather broadcasting. Over decades on Southern California television, Dickert has become a local South Bay Legend.
