Surfing is a large part of Hermosa’s Heritage. In order to honor our strong surfing history, we annually recognize local legends who have a connection to South Bay surfing with the Surfers Walk of Fame. Each year the Surfers Walk of Fame Weekend is held, complete with an Induction Ceremony, to celebrate the newly chosen inductees.
The City of Hermosa Beach is excited to announce the
2025 Surfers Walk of Fame Inductees:
- Shannon Aikman: Female Legend/Champion
- Ronald Meistrell: Cultural Legend
- Rocky Sabo: South Bay Legend
- Tak Kawahara: Pioneer
