DESCRIPTION:  \nThe 53rd Annual Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair is a community fair with arts and crafts\, food\, games and entertainment. The fair is held at Live Oak Park (on Valley Drive between 15th and 21st Streets). \nThe Fair is fun for all ages. Great fair food\, beautiful arts and crafts from hand selected vendors\, free entertainment on their Main Stage and South Stage\, games for kids of all ages and of course\, the Kid’s Country are just some of the venues available for visitors. The goal of the community fair is to create a weekend event where locals can support each other as customers and operators of fun booths while raising funds for local charity organizations. This event is a Manhattan Beach tradition!

SUMMARY:37th Annual Manhattan Beach Halloween Carnival
DESCRIPTION:Spend the afternoon with us and join in on the frightfully fun games\, tricks and treats during our 37th Annual Family Halloween Carnival at Manhattan Heights Park! Enjoy carnival games\, costume contest and parade\, Teen Center Haunted House\, cupcake walk\, snow cones\, refreshments\, activities and much more\, perfect for ages 2 to 15. Bring out the entire family and get into the Halloween spirit. Children under the age of 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Most game booths are constructed by participants and staff in the REC Program and Teen Center. Events\, attractions\, and costs are subject to change without notice. Prizes while supplies last. \nCostume Categories:\nIndividuals\n7 and under\n8 to 15\nGroups\nSiblings\nParent and Child \nAwards:\nJudges will be awarding prizes for 1st through 5th place\, make sure you come dressed up and show off your costume.\nCarnival Bracelets: $10 per carnival participant (price subject to change)\nEach child participating in the Halloween Carnival is recommended to purchase a bracelet. The bracelets include unlimited use of:\nAll carnival booths on the basketball courts\nAccess to the Teen Center Haunted House\nSnow cone\nParticipation in the Cupcake walk (like musical chairs)\nFood Booth: Cash and Credit available \nActivities and Events (prices subject to change)\nCarnival Game Booths Free for bracelet holders\nThe carnival booth games are made by the participants of the REC Program and Teen Center. Booths will be closed during the costume parade. \nCupcake Walk Free for bracelet holders\nVery similar to musical chairs without the elimination. Halloween icons will be placed on the ground in a circle. Participants will walk over the icons while music plays and when the music stops\, everyone must stand on one of the icons. If your icon is chosen\, you win a cupcake! A new Cupcake Walk will happen about every 20 minutes from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. \nSnow Cones available for bracelet holders \nFood Stand available for purchase\nPizza\, water\, soda\, juice\, chips\, fruit\, and popcorn.\nInformation Booth\nBracelets will be sold at the Information Booth only.
